Advantages Of An In-House Outsourced Mechanical Workshop

In-house mechanical workshop is a very powerful tool for cutting costs / avoiding delays and results in huge benefits as follows:

  • Saves time
  • Saves cost
  • Valuable trouble-shooter in case of emergencies
  • Allows the concerned engineer to collaborate/use his experience on line while doing critical jobs. As the engineer is available near by and can see the job whenever he / she desires and can inspect /suggest changes (For important jobs)
  • Saves lot of time/energy of the Purchase department and allied engineering departments too. Sometimes small repair jobs also require lot of paper work/indenting procedures / exact drawings. In case the workshop is inside, this effort can be avoided or considerably reduced resulting in saving of time/energy of the concerned officers.
  • Acts as a big help in emergencies. Sometimes there are faults/breakdowns at odd hours (night). Having your own workshop enables immediate repair or making necessary spare parts. This type of timely help is very important to process people as the plant can again be put on line.
  • Necessary spares/repair works get streamlined in due course of time and the workshop gets experienced with regards to the plants requirements, as the requirements are same/similar most of the time.
